I hope your weekend has been enjoyable! I want to remind everyone of just a few things this week.
While third quarter report card grades are officially available in FOCUS, it is important for you to contact your child’s teachers to get updates on the progress of their individual success plan. Also, if you have not been receiving progress emails from Edgenuity, please email me so I can be sure to add your email address to your child’s account.
11th grade students will be offered the SAT at school this week. This test is free to our 11th grade students. We will be meeting with all 11th and 12th grade students this week to help them sign up for the next SAT and ACT that is offered in our area.
Prom is planned for Friday, May 3rd from 6pm - 10pm . Tickets are on sale now. Tickets are $45 for 1 or $80 for 2. This year’s prom is sure to be an evening to remember so I urge all students to get their tickets from Mrs. Hemsath soon! I am really looking forward to this year’s prom because it is going to be like nothing we’ve done before! Mrs. Hemsath & Mrs. Murray have been working hard!
We are also taking orders for this year’s yearbook. The cost is $45.00 and can be purchased from Mrs. Murray.
Seniors, it is less than a month away from the 2024 Grad Bash event at Universal Studios. If you are interested in going, please let me know. If we don’t have at least 10 students, we will be forced to cancel.
Parents, please watch your email for a link to a survey regarding planning for next school year. This survey will only take a couple minutes but provides us with extremely valuable information. I want to thank you in advance for taking the time to offer your thoughts and opinions.
One last thing and extremely exciting bit of news that I want to share. After analyzing the 9th grade results from the PM1 and PM2 tests and are excited to share that we saw 14% of our 9th grade students grow from a Level 1 to a Level 3. If this is any indication of the growth we will see during PM3, we are going to celebrate BIG! Congratulations to our 9th graders and our teachers for working hard!
