Privacy outline
- Cloudflare: The site utilizes Cloudflare as a CDN. Cloudflare may collect data as described in their privacy policy.
- Cloudflare cookies & bot/security protection: Cloudflare may set cookies or use other signals to provide bot mitigation and security (e.g., DDoS, rate-limiting). These are controlled by Cloudflare and are not set by this site.
- LocalStorage - theme toggle only: LocalStorage is used solely to store the user’s theme preference (light/dark). That value is written only when the user clicks the theme toggle button and is not transmitted off the device.
- Plausible Analytics: Plausible is used for privacy-friendly analytics. Plausible does not use cookies or cross-site tracking and collects only aggregated, non-identifying metrics.
- Google Analytics (occasional): Google Analytics is sometimes used with the maximum privacy settings available (e.g., IP anonymization, data retention limits, limited data sharing). Where GA is active, its collection is minimized to the extent the service allows.
- Microsoft Clarity for new features/navigation: When a new feature or navigation change is deployed, Microsoft Clarity may be enabled temporarily to generate heatmaps and session replays to help improve functionality. This is short-term and limited to the feature-testing period.
- Google Forms: We use Google Forms to collect enrollment information; please note that Google’s privacy practices apply to data submitted through that service. The information you provide is used only for school enrollment purposes and will not be used for any other activities. If you prefer not to use an online form, a paper enrollment form is available in person at the school office or can be provided on request.
- Messages/emails & public-records risk (Florida law): Any message or email sent may be subject to public records requests under Florida law. Do not send personal, sensitive, or confidential information via site messages or email. For sensitive matters, contact by phone instead.
- No promise of anonymity: This outline is informational and not a formal privacy policy. Users should assume data collected by third parties (Cloudflare, Google, Microsoft, Plausible) is subject to those providers’ practices and controls.
