All students currently enrolled in United States Government will be taking the Civics test this week. Be sure to see Mr. Stewart tomorrow to get study materials if you haven’t already done so.
Our Powerhouse group will be attending sessions on Monday and Thursday from 10:15 - 11:30. This week is all about taking the steps toward getting the job you want! We will be learning resume writing and interviewing skills.
Our Annual Title I meeting has been scheduled for Thursday, November 9 at 5:30 . This meeting will provide information about the resources and support services we are able to offer because of the Title I funding.
We will have snacks available after the meeting as well. Please RSVP by Tuesday, November 7th. You can email Mrs. Emerick or call the school office at (352) 357-9426 . We hope to see you there!
Parents, please remind your students about the dress code. We have received donated clothing that students are provided if they are out of dress code, however, if we do not have anything for your student to wear that is dress code compliant, we will be calling parents to either pick your child up or bring appropriate clothing.
We have a growing number of students that are missing school regularly. We know there was a stomach bug going around and a head cold too so we hope that we are done with that! School attendance is absolutely crucial. The school year is nearly 1/2 over and we need students to be working every day on their courses in class so they can get assistance from their teachers. Not only is it important for students to attend daily so they can work on their classes, but we have math and reading interventions scheduled for students to prepare them for testing and to help them be successful in their classes, but if they aren’t in school, we can’t help! Parents, please help us help your student by making sure they are in attendance every day! Your support is very much appreciated!
Have a great rest of your Sunday!
