Good Afternoon Parents, Students, and Staff,
It has been decided that we will hold a device drop off event at the school on Tuesday, June 9, 2020 from 5p-7p. Please bring your laptop and charger. Students that are unable to make it that night will need to contact Ms. Hope on Monday, June 8, 2020 between the hours of 8a.m and 1p.m to make arrangements for us to get your device 352-357-9426
It is very important that you make contact with Ms. Hope at the school on Monday 6/8 if you cannot make it to the drop off event at the school.
During the drop off event at the school, you will also be able to collect your binder (as long as it was in the bin) and view any of the leftover jackets that were in the lock box, collecting what is yours.
We ask that you remain in your vehicle at all times. Our staff will get your items and hand them to you. We will also have a staff member collecting your device from you.
Limited Office Hours: The school office will remain closed to the public until further notice. However, our phones will once again be answered daily from 8:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
Students wishing to enroll for the 2020-2021 school year can access the online application available on our website . Students already enrolled, you will need to complete another application as well.
To our seniors and their families - Our Graduation Ceremony has been planned. This year’s seniors will receive their moment in the spotlight on Saturday, June 20, 2020 beginning at 9:00 a.m. This year’s graduation will be drive thru style and although it is definitely not the ceremony that we all had hoped for because of the coronavirus pandemic, it will be a day in their lives they won’t soon forget - and neither will we. Graduates will be limited to one vehicle in the parade. Additional cars are not permitted and there will be no place for families to park and watch, however, we will be live streaming the ceremony on Facebook, and pictures will be taken. We will also have a CD of the entire ceremony available to all graduates at a later date. In addition, we have chosen to give each graduate a free yearbook after they walk across the stage along with a little goody bag! We encourage each car to be decorated with school colors and signs. We ask that graduates not be the driver of the vehicle.
Graduates will need to pick up their cap and gown from Alee Academy on Friday, June 19 between 5 p.m. and 7 p.m.
