Dear Parents and Guardians,
I would like to take this opportunity to welcome back our returning students and welcome all new students to our Alee Academy family. We are ready to hit the ground running this school year. As part of our efforts to improve the quality of education your student receives here at Alee Academy, we are inviting parents and guardians to get involved and be a part of the positive events that are happening throughout our school. The administration and staff of Alee Academy are seeking the help and input of parents and guardians who are willing to be a part of the Parent Advisory Council (PAC). Meetings will be scheduled on various evenings throughout the school year. This will be an opportunity to give your input and voice concerns, as well as keep up-to-date on the student achievement that will be taking place throughout the school year. If you are interested in being actively involved, please see Mrs. Valentino, or Mr. Brown at Open House on Tuesday, August 8, 2016 from 12:00pm – 6:00pm.
All new and returning students must complete an updated application packet prior to the start of the school year. If you have not done so already, please stop by the front office as soon as possible to update your student’s information and check out the current dress code requirements. Alee Academy T-Shirts are now on sale for $5.00 each. 2X-5X are $7.00 each. Sweatshirts can be pre-ordered as well for $15. 2X-5X are $18.00. Please be sure that your student attends open house. The first 50 enrolled students to attend Open House will receive a complimentary Alee Academy T-Shirt!
There have been numerous changes throughout the summer and we are looking forward to having a productive and successful year. The staff of Alee Academy has committed to “stepping up our game” in the hopes that our students will rise to the occasion and do the same both academically and behaviorally. Our goal, as it has always been, is to help those students that need us most in experiencing success both academically and socially. With your help, we truly can accomplish our goal of creating a trusting environment, while challenging our students to fulfill their academic and personal potential.
As a reminder, school starts on Thursday, August 10, 2016. All students are expected to arrive to school on time and in dress code everyday.
