Testing & Exams

This page explains everything students and families need to know about testing at Alee Academy, including testing rules, state assessments, and the Classic Learning Test (CLT).

Testing Protocol

  • Students must arrive for testing with their Chromebooks fully charged and ready to use.
  • Personal electronic devices are not permitted during testing. This includes cell phones, smartwatches, wireless earbuds, and similar devices. These items must not be used or accessed at any time, including during breaks.

State Assessments

State assessments are required for high school graduation and must be completed by eligible students to meet state accountability requirements. Participation in these assessments is necessary for students to earn a standard diploma.

Alee Academy supports students by ensuring testing requirements are clearly communicated, properly administered, and completed within required timelines.

Classic Learning Test (CLT)

The Classic Learning Test (CLT) is offered at Alee Academy as an approved assessment option to meet testing requirements in Mathematics and/or Reading. For eligible students, CLT scores may be used to demonstrate proficiency in these subject areas when applicable.

The CLT focuses on critical thinking, reading comprehension, and reasoning skills. It provides an alternative testing option for students who may benefit from a different assessment format while still meeting academic requirements.
