A More Flexible Path Back to High School

Returning to school can be difficult when work, family responsibilities, transportation, or an earlier school experience stand in the way. Alee Academy provides a small school environment and scheduling options designed to make continuing your education more manageable.

  • Small school environment

Learn in a setting where students can receive more direct support and guidance.

  • Flexible scheduling options

Day and night school options may help students balance school with work or other responsibilities.

  • Block schedule

Students attend periods 1 through 4 on Monday and Wednesday and periods 5 through 8 on Tuesday and Thursday.

  • No Friday classes

The four-day class schedule leaves Friday available for work, appointments, studying, and other needs.

Returning Can Become Harder the Longer You Wait

Students stop attending high school for many reasons. Sometimes work becomes necessary. Family responsibilities change. Transportation becomes difficult. School may no longer feel manageable, or missing too much time may make returning seem impossible.

But time away can create new obstacles. Responsibilities accumulate, routines change, and the idea of walking back into school becomes more intimidating. Waiting rarely makes the process easier.

Alee Academy offers eligible students an opportunity to return, determine which graduation requirements remain, and continue working toward a diploma in a smaller and more flexible setting.

A School With a History of Helping Students Continue

Alee Academy has served Lake County students who need another path toward graduation since 1999. Supporting students at risk of leaving school was part of the school’s original mission.

In 2002, Alee Academy received the Crystal Star Award of Excellence in Dropout Prevention. That history reflects a longstanding commitment to helping students reconnect with their education and continue moving toward graduation.
