The Alee Academy Charter School will hold a groundbreaking ceremony on Wednesday, Nov. 5th , at 2:30 p.m. to celebrate the start of construction on a new $1.9 million dollar school facility for the Eustis Campus.

Faced with the ever-increasing need and desire for more classroom space on campus, the Charter Board of Alee Academy voted three years ago to increase their classroom facilities. Parrish Construction Company completed a design proposal for the new facility. and Capital Resources was contacted to perform a feasibility study as well as seeking financing for the new facility.

Construction of the new school facility is made possible through USDA Rural Development “Loan Note Guarantee” issued to the lender, Florida Bank of Gainesville.

Located on the north side of County Road 44A east of US Highway 19 in Eustis, the new campus will host the 15,000 square foot facility will have eight classrooms, a commons area, computer server room, and administrative offices that will be used to offer additional students an opportunity to successfully complete their high school career.
