Testing Dates for 2017-18 School Year
Summer Testing Window
July 9 – 12 for Algebra 1, Geometry, Biology and U.S. History
Student must contact the school two weeks before the test window to schedule their test dates due to limited space.

The purpose of this letter is to inform you that your student will be taking the computer-based Florida Standards Assessments (FSA) Grade 9, 10, and 11 ELA Writing/ELA Reading assessment(s). If you or your student would like to gain familiarity with the computer-based testing platform, item types, and response formats your student will see on the FSA assessments, training tests and answer keys are available at http://www.FSAssessments.org/training-tests.
The statewide assessment program is designed to provide parents, teachers, policy makers, and the general public with information regarding how well students are learning Florida’s academic standards. According to section 1008.22(3), Florida Statutes, “Participation in the assessment program is mandatory for all school districts and all students attending public schools, including adult students seeking a standard high school diploma under s. 1003.4282 and students in Department of Juvenile Justice education programs, except as otherwise provided by law. The state end of courses are administered at the end of the year. There are three other retake opportunities for students to improve their previous scores. A passing score of 399 on the Algebra 1 EOC is a graduation requirements for all students who started high school after 2011.
FCAT reading and math retakes are currently administered twice a year for those that whose communication or math mastery requirement is FCAT. Those would be the students that started high school prior to 2011.
For students who started high school in 2014 the Florida Standard Assessment of English Language Arts (FSA) is their communications mastery requirement.
