Good Evening Fam-Alee! This is Mrs. Emerick, with your week at a glance for the week of April 29, 2024.
The end of the year is super close and the next few weeks are going to fly by.
On Thursday of this week, any student that is currently taking Biology or U.S. History will be taking the EOC. This is especially important for any of our seniors.
Beginning on Monday, May 6 we start the PM3 Reading Test. Every student enrolled at our school is required to take this test. I cannot express the importance of EVERY student being in attendance for testing. We have all been working hard and now is the time to show it!!! Parents, I am asking you to help make sure your student gets to school on time everyday. It is as important for our school as it is for the students to be here and do their absolute best. Please watch our Facebook page for the tests we are offered on what days.
Some other announcements that are equally important…. This Friday is Prom Day ! The campus will still be open for students that need to come in.
Sea World tickets are still being sold if any student is interested in going. It is going to be an incredible experience. Tickets are $125. Anyone that has already paid, must pay the remainder of their ticket by Wednesday, May 8.
May 10th at 12:00 noon all work must be turned in for graduating seniors because May 17th is Graduation Day ! Our ceremony will be held at First Baptist Church Umatilla . Graduates are expected to be at the church that morning at 10:00 for practice and then back at 6:00 pm. The doors open for families and guests at 6:30.
The cost of caps & gowns is $50 and can be paid by cash or check at school or by credit card on the school store .
That’s all I have for this week. Have a wonderful rest of your Sunday!
