Good Sunday Afternoon Parents, Students, and Staff, I have some very important and exciting announcements for next week, December 13 - December 16.
This is the final week of the semester and there is a lot of work to be done so we can finish the semester strong! Students are expected to be working in EVERY class in order to earn the 1/2 credit for their courses by Thursday, December 16th. All assignments and tests will be locked in APEX after school on Thursday unless other arrangements have been made with your child’s teachers.
Winter break begins on Friday, December 17th. Students return to school on Tuesday, January 4th.
We will be dismissing early at 1:00pm next week, starting Tuesday, December 14th - 16th. Students will be following their regular schedule, however, each class period will be a bit shorter.
We will also be celebrating the holiday season at next week with the following themed days:
Monday 13th: Hidden Elves!
Santa’s Elves will be hidden around our campus! Bring one to the office for a treat.
Tuesday 14th: Christmas Pajama Day!
Celebrate in comfort! Make sure to come in PJ’s that are appropriate or be bundled up.
Wednesday 15th: Florida Winter!
Let’s celebrate the winter season Florida Style! Festivities will include Hot Cocoa and Kona Ice! Wear flip flops and Santa hats! Kona Ice prices start at $3.00. Hot cocoa will be sold for $2.00.
Thursday 16th: Festive Outfit Day!
Show up and show off! Let’s wear our best Christmas attire: shirts, socks and headbands included!
All apparel worn MUST follow the Lake County School guidelines.
