We are excited to be hosting our second Attendance Incentive Luncheon tomorrow! This month, our lunch is being provided by Marcos Pizza! Our dessert this month comes from Clawson’s Bake House! Yes, our very own Mr. Clawson. Mrs. Clawson has opened a specialty bake shop and let me tell you, her cupcakes and brownies are DELICIOUS! The kids are sure to eat good tomorrow. I am proud to announce that this month we have 25 students that are eligible for the luncheon! That is 15 more than last month! Keep up the good work students! Your commitment is paying off!
We will begin after-school tutoring this week. Tutoring is available for English, Reading, and Math and will be held on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 2:15-3:45. Parents will be responsible for picking up their student at 3:45 on the day or days the student attends tutoring. A letter will be coming home with your student if he/she is recommended to attend after-school tutoring. There is not cost for tutoring as this will be provided using Title 1 funding. For students that do stay for tutoring, please bring a snack to help you stay focused!
This month, we are focusing on all the things we are Thankful and Grateful for in our lives. Students and Staff are encouraged to find at least one thing they are thankful or grateful for and write it on the banners that will be up in the hallway tomorrow. We are all going through a stressful time with all of the changes that have come our way in school and in life, but we need to remember there is always something we can find to be thankful or grateful for. This month we are going to hold on to those things because we all need to be surrounded by positivity!
Our campus will be open this Friday, 11/5 for any student that needs additional help or additional time for making up missing work. Students should arrive no earlier than 8:00 a.m. and must be picked up by 11:30 a.m.
