Good afternoon parents and staff,
I am excited to announce that we had more students earn the attendance bingo reward last week than the previous week! What does that mean? That means we had more students using the opportunity provided to them at Alee Academy to learn and get closer to the goal of getting their diploma. Great job to all!
With that being said, the safety and security of our staff and students is a top priority at Alee Academy so I want you to join me in thanking the Lake County Sherriff’s office and Eustis Police Department for helping us improve our security measures. We have made a some changes as recommended so parents, please let your students know that their patience and flexibility is greatly appreciated.
Our campus will be closed next Friday, September 3rd for staff development. Monday, Sept 6th is Labor Day so there is no school.
We appreciate the open line of communication we have had with parents this year and continue to encourage you to contact us if your child or any member of your home has been exposed or has tested positive for COVID-19. As a precaution, students that are not feeling well should stay home. We are continuing to clean and disinfect all student desks and other high contact areas to help prevent transmission of the coronavirus and other germs.
As always, our administrative team is available for questions or concerns regarding your student. Please feel free to call the school at 352-357-9426 if you have any questions. Please ask for Mrs. Emerick or Mrs. Daniel.
Have a wonderful rest of your Sunday!
