2020 Graduation Ceremony details are limited but what we do know is this:
Saturday, June 20, 2020 @ 9AM we will hold our graduation ceremony for this year’s senior class. The ceremony will be “drive-thru” style with 1 vehicle per graduate. We want you to decorate your car, bring as many people in your vehicle as you safely can, and WALK ACROSS THAT STAGE!!! This school year has been so very different than any in our past but your achievement is definitely NOT different! You have worked hard, you have persevered, and YOU MADE IT! We want to celebrate that with you in the best manner we have available to us. While the drive-thru style may not be what you had in mind, we must consider all of the regulations that have been placed upon us with the current health crisis that is COVID-19. We will be live streaming the ceremony so your family and friends will be able to watch from home. We will also record the entire ceremony and have a CD available soon after.
A few things to note:
- Cap & Gown distribution will be on Friday, June 19, 2020. Time will be announced later. Graduates will also be asked to bring their borrowed devices to Alee for return.
- The graduating senior cannot be the operator of the vehicle during the ceremony.
- We will announce the graduate’s name, they will exit their vehicle, and walk across the stage to receive their diploma. We ask that families accompanying the graduate in the vehicle, remain in the vehicle at all times. Unfortunately, vehicles not occupied by the graduate are not permitted on the grounds.
