Good Evening Parents and Students,
We had a great first week and are looking forward to having a very productive year. There are few announcements for the upcoming week that I would like to share with you. Before the end of the school day on Monday, August 19th, all student drivers must have an Alee Academy parking pass on the window of their vehicle. Parking passes can be purchased from Mr. Brown. The cost is $30 for the year. Students must bring a valid driver’s license, proof of insurance, and the vehicle registration when purchasing their pass. As part of our school security plan, unidentified vehicles on school property will be subject to towing. So please, purchase those parking passes!
On Wednesday, August 21, from 7:30-3:00, we will host our 1st blood drive of the new school year. We will have several of these events throughout the school year and we hope to have an awesome turn out for these events again this year. The donations we received last year helped so many people and it showed our students how great it feels to give something of themselves to help others. Students wishing to donate that are 16 years old must have a parent permission form signed before they donate on Wednesday. Permission forms can be picked up from Ms. Jenkins. Students that are 17 years old or older must sign up for their appointment time with Ms. Jenkins as well. This blood drive is open to the public so please share this with your friends and family and on your social media accounts! Let’s show our community what amazing things Alee Academy can do!
One more thing, when dropping off or picking up students, please use the student parking lot area only. The front parking lot area should not be used for student drop off or pick up. Our ultimate goal is to make sure our students are safe so we appreciate your help with this matter.
