Good Evening Alee Academy Family!
We will be taking a trip to Lake Sumter State College on Monday, April 15. The bus will leave from Alee at 7:30 and return to school around 10 a.m. Seniors were given a chance to sign up to attend.
We will hold the make up SAT on Tuesday April 23rd. If students are interested, they must sign up with Ms. Jenkins or Ms. Daniel. The cost is $8.00. Space is very limited so please be sure to let Ms. Jenkins or Ms. Daniel know by email or by calling (no later than Monday April 22nd @ 5pm) if you would like to take the SAT. This will be offered for both sessions. We will begin the SAT within 30 minutes of each Session’s start time.
Due to circumstances beyond our control, we will host our final parent night on Thursday April 25th from 6:00 - 7:00pm insteaf of the 18th as originally planned. This is a great opportunity to learn about your student’s status for graduation and talk with the teachers regarding their progress. We also will have a short survey to fill out that will provide us with your feedback as we begin planning for next year. Please RSVP to Mrs. Emerick no later than April 18th so we can ensure we have enough refreshments.
The Grad Bash event that we are priviliged to attend each year is coming up on Friday, April 26th. Students that are attending will need to be at Alee Academy no later than 3:00pm in proper dress code. We will return to Alee Academy at approximately 3:00a.m. All of the information provided to us from Universal Studios will be provided to attendees this week.
We will hold a meeting for our senior class on Wednesday the 17th to begin measuring for caps and gowns. Information will be sent home to parents that day and will also be available at the parent night event.
Saturday morning tutoring continues each Saturday through May 18th. We have also decided to provide an additional, opportunity on Friday April 19th because that is a non-student day. The time is 8am-12pm for any tutoring opportunities.
