To Parents, Guardians, Community Partners, and Students:
It is with a heavy heart that we must announce that one of our teachers, Coach Davis, became very ill before Thanksgiving break. His illness was much more serious than first thought and he passed away this past Saturday. We have made grief counselors available for our students and staff as we all work through the grieving process and begin to heal our hearts. While we are all devastated, we know that Coach would want us to carry on as normal.
Please encourage your child to talk about how they’re feeling and contact the school if we can be of any help to you or your student during this difficult time.
A memorial service is being planned and will be held at a later date. Your student will be notified of the date and time when plans are finalized should you or your student wish to attend.
