Weather Update: Per Lake County Schools
Because of the strength of Hurricane Matthew and the path it is expected to take, Lake County’s emergency operations team is making storm preparation plans that include using many of our schools as safety shelters.
To accommodate that need, schools will be closed on Thursday and Friday this week.
Students will be expected to make up lost instructional time. However, the date and time of the makeup day will be announced at a later date. Unlike Lake County Schools, Alee Academy does not have formal classes on Friday, so we will only be required to make up one instructional day.
