The month of September brought lessons and opportunities to demonstrate RESPECT. The definition of respect is “a feeling of deep admiration for someone or something elicited by their abilities, qualities, or achievements”. The following students were selected by the teachers for their continued demonstration of respect to themselves, their peers, and their teachers and school.
We assembled all students in our hallway and announced each of the selected students by name. As they walked down to receive their certificate, candy bar, and free Kona Ice coupon, their classmates, teachers and staff offered hugs, hi-fives, congratulations, and plenty of cheers!
