My mission this year at Alee is to get the kids out of the classroom as much as possible. I want them to APPLY what they’re learning in the classroom. Mr. Clawson, one of our science teachers, has been teaching the kids about the scientific method this week with a focus on making observations. So after making their predictions they did their first experiment and recorded their observations. The kids were so impressed (I mean who doesn’t love to see fire!) They talked about this ALL day! This is what LEARNING is all about!
