Alee Academy is looking to hire a full time Teacher Assistant, Title 1 for the 2019-2020 school year. Applicants must possess an Associate’s Degree or higher, 2 years of study at an institution of higher education from an accredited institution or an acceptable score on the state mandated paraprofessional exam. This is our final week of school! It seems to have gone by so quickly. On Monday Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday of this week both Session 1 and Session 2 will be on a normal schedule. Some classes will be giving final exams While others will allow students to continue working on their Apex. All Apex work must be completed by Thursday May 23. Friday May 24th is reserved only for students that missed any of their final exams.
Good Evening Parents anf Guardians, I wanted to let you know that we will begin EOC testing this week. Students that are enrolled in Algebra 1, Geometry, US History, and Biology will be taking the End of Course exams over the next three weeks. We will also continue FSA testing for our 9th and 10th graders if they have not already taken it this year. Please encourage your student to get a good night sleep and eat a good breakfast so they are ready to do their best on these tests.

The department is excited to announce the release of the beta version of Florida’s education reports portal, EduData (edudata.fldoe.org), which includes the 2017-18 School and District Report Cards. Redesigned to meet the requirements outlined in the Elementary and Secondary Education Act of 1965, as amended by the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA), the report cards will serve as a valuable resource for understanding important information about Florida’s districts and schools, and we look forward to this opportunity to receive input on their usability.

Beginning with the 2018-2019 school year, a student enrolled in a Florida public school in kindergarten through grade 12 who has been subjected to an incident of battery; harassment; hazing; bullying; kidnapping; physical attack; robbery; sexual offenses, harassment, assault, or battery; threat or intimidation; or fighting at school the opportunity to transfer to another public school with capacity or enroll in an approved private school under the Hope Scholarship. The law provides for eligible sales tax contributions from the purchase of a motor vehicle to eligible nonprofit scholarship funding organizations (SFOs).

Please see the attached spreadsheet issued by the State of Florida for a list of all Charter / Alternative schools that earn a School Improvement Rating and their 2017-2018 Rating.
